Well, I had every intention of doing my workout on the treadmill today, but about 2:30 this morning, my husband was up with the horrible stomach flu. I felt so bad for him. Plus, he is in the middle of finals this week. Just in case I didn't mention this, my husband is in Grad school for Physical Therapy, a very intense Doctorate program, and getting sick in the middle of finals was NOT on the schedule! Anyway, finally about 3:30AM I went to the store to get him some Pepto Bismol and 7up. Unfortunately, I just could not go back to sleep afterwards, so I stayed up. Then about 5:00AM my daughter, who is 9 months old woke up. I went to check on her and poor baby had pucked all over her bed. And I'm not just talking about baby spit up. I had no idea that such a tiny person could have that much stuff to throw up. So, I put her in the bath tub and got all her sheets in the washer. She was so sick, poor baby.
Needless to say, I was not able to get a workout in today. Plus, I am SUPER sore from yesterday's workout. So much for my 6 day workout week this week. Both my hubby and my baby are much better tonight, and I have every intention of picking up where I left off tomorrow!
I am also planning on doing a mock 5K on Saturday just to see where I am. Bryant (my husband) has mapped out a 5K route and I am going to see how I do with it. So, wish me luck!
